A steady way to support bereaved families
Regular gifts help Zephyr’s provide ongoing counselling and support for families facing the heartbreak of baby loss, miscarriage, and bereavement across Nottinghamshire and beyond.
Every month, families come to Zephyr’s seeking space, understanding, and specialist support during some of the hardest moments of their lives. Regular donations give us the stability to plan ahead — ensuring our counselling sessions, peer support groups, and creative therapies remain available to anyone who needs them.
Because we receive no statutory or NHS funding, every penny counts and when you make a regular donation, even a small amount, your helping us continue to provide the care and compassion that families need during the hardest of times.
My bereavement midwife pointed me in the direction of Zephyr’s. When I was feeling up to it, I went to one of their evening support groups. Being in a community of people who understand and have been through similar has really helped me, and I now go on quite a regular basis. Grief is a lonely place to be, and I don’t think anybody should have to go through it alone if they don’t want to. That’s why I donate — so they can continue to support people going through similar.

Here's how your donation can help:
- £5 a month helps fund the endless supply of tea biscuits that are the silent backbone of all of our support sessions.
- £7 a month helps fund monthly training for healthcare professionals, ensuring they are confident caring for bereaved families
- £10 a month helps fund materials for our creative play therapy, supporting bereaved siblings and young family members.
- £20 a month helps fund a specialist bereavement counsellor, supporting individuals & couples navigating pregnancy after loss.
How to set up a regular donation
Setting up a regular donation to Zephyr’s is really simple.
Step 1. Visit our JustGiving page
Step 2. Click ‘Give Now’
Step 3. Select the ‘monthly’ option and complete the form with your bank and address details. JustGiving will ask you to set up an account, if you don’t have one already. This will enable you to track and easily change your donation.
Step 4. Complete a Gift Aid form (if applicable), meaning you can boost your donation to Zephyr’s by 25p of Gift Aidf for every £1 you donate. Gift Aid is reclaimed by Zephyr’s from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Please refer to our Privacy Policy (link in footer) to know how we use your data.
