Accessing our services

Here at Zephyr’s, we understand that accessing our services isn’t the same for everyone. Since the start of building our community, we have been dedicated to supporting individuals, couples and families on a case-by-case basis, ensuring that we hear everyone’s story, and try to meet you in your experience as best we can.

We recognise that as a young charity we still have a way to go, but we encourage you to speak to us about any barriers to accessibility you might be experiencing. These might include:

Physical Barriers: eg. mobility, physical or mental impairments affecting access
Communication Barriers: eg. language barriers, navigating services with learning difficulties, difficulty accessing digital resources
Attitudinal Barriers: eg. cultural nuances, issues surrounding discrimination, LGBTQIA+ experiences
Economic Barriers: eg. financial challenges, transport, technology
Engagement Barriers: eg. neurodivergence or challenges surrounding mental health

Ways that we are developing our accessibility:

Accessibility Audits on our services and projects
Inclusive Communication and reference material
Disability and EDI Awareness Training for our staff and freelancers
Flexible Volunteering and working for our team
Policy Review and Development from our Board of Trustees

We are currently working on our Web Content Accessibility and a general Accessibility Policy Statement, but in the mean time please get in touch if there is anything you might need to ask us.
