We’re pleased to share a warm welcome to Rebekah Henry, Nottingham Baby and Toddler Community Founder, as our first Zephyr’s Ambassador! Rebekah founded NBT to bring together local families with activity and service providers, building a community of support, networking and social opportunities.
In 2022, Carly and members of Zephyr’s attended the first in-person NBT gathering. Nestled amongst the bustle of busy pregnancy and baby activities, our Zephyr’s stall gave us chance to let people know about our support for bereaved families. Zephyr’s CEO Carly says
“Right from the start, Rebekah has never been afraid to share our bereavement services (within family settings), and to support us to sensitively raise awareness of our charity. Not only that, but her care and compassion for Zephyr’s during our time as NBT’s Charity of The Year and her passion to further spread the word and raise money also, has been phenomenal. I’m so excited that she’s become an Ambassador!”

On joining Zephyr’s, Rebekah says
“The connection that has grown over the past year with Zephyr’s has been incredibly special. What started as a partnership has become something much more meaningful — a community rallying around a cause that truly matters.
Over the past year, we’ve hosted fundraising events, joined awareness campaigns, volunteered our time, and contributed in many ways to support Zephyr’s vital work. It’s been inspiring to see so many people get involved, show their support, and help raise awareness for the services they provide every single day.
Becoming an ambassador for Zephyr’s means a great deal to me. Although I actively support the baby and toddler community, I believe this work is just as important because not every family’s journey into parenthood is straightforward. Sadly, some families experience pregnancy loss, baby loss, or the death of a child, and during those unimaginable moments having the right support, compassion, and understanding can make a huge difference.
I’m proud to help spread the word about Zephyr’s work and the safe spaces they create for people to grieve, connect, and heal. As an ambassador, I’m committed to encouraging open conversations around baby loss, raising awareness, and supporting the incredible work Zephyr’s does for families in our community. I hope that by sharing their message, more people will learn about the support available and help ensure Zephyr’s can continue supporting families when they need it most. I feel incredibly honoured to represent a charity that brings compassion, understanding, and hope to people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. 💜”
Zephyr’s Chair of Trustees Patrick adds
“We are delighted to welcome Rebekah Henry to Zephyr’s as our inaugural charity Ambassador. Rebekah has long been admired within the baby & toddler community across Nottingham for her exemplary work, her energy, enthusiasm and as a formidable trailblazer.
We are absolutely thrilled that she has agreed to continue her association with Zephyr’s and formally join us in our mission to support families following pregnancy loss, or the death of a baby or child.”
