Many folk are motivated to get involved by their own loss experience, but personal connection is not prerequisite; others feel moved to join our team because they want to support our worthwhile cause. Regardless – everyone is welcome – and becoming part of Zephyr’s can feel like you’re joining our family…
Zephyr’s volunteers take care of our resources, books and therapy room, they represent us at events, support our fundraising ventures, help us spread the word about what we do. Some cheer our runners over finish lines, make tea with a welcoming warmth and smile, they run our stalls, tombola and games at Zephyr’s seasonal parties. Some approach us with offers of specific creative skills through design and illustration, while others get involved with seldom-seen tasks that we just simply couldn’t do without (packing Christmas cards, scheduling social posts, folding leaflets, and so much more!)
