Together with FPSS (the Family Psychological Support Service) Zephyr’s, and families involved in the Ockenden Review are hosting fortnightly craft-based peer support meet-ups for anyone involved in the Review of Nottingham Hospitals.
Sessions will continue to run from Thursday, 10am – 12noon, upstairs at Sherwood Community Centre on:
7th & 21st May
4th & 18th June
2nd, 16th & 30th July

With hand-crafts led with guidance by Sarah, and supportive confidential space held by therapists from FPSS & Zephyr’s therapists; those who come will be able to spend time with one another, to share and connect in a safe and gentle way. The mornings will be split over 2 rooms, with a main area for group conversation and making, as well as quiet, breakaway space for quieter chat, and tea.
Who are these sessions for?
This is an adult only space, open to everyone included within the Ockenden Review, regardless of your personal – loss or birth trauma – experience, all are welcome.
Either just turn up or if you’d like support to join us, you can let us know if you’d like someone to meet you outside.
No previous crafting experience is necessary, and you’re welcome to join for support without participating in crafts if this is not your thing.
Find us at Sherwood Community Centre, Nottingham, NG5 3FN.
