Savills chose Zephyr’s as their Charity of the Year in 2025, with the company taking part in an array of fundraising events, initiatives and challenges raising an incredible £6353.82!
Their biggest challenge of the year saw the team don their lycra, trainers and walking boots to cycle, run and walk to Skegness. Four members of the team embarked on a 90-mile bike ride after setting off from the Savills Nottingham offices on Standard Court in the city centre, whilst the rest either set off on a half marathon distance (13.2 mile) run or walked 11 miles, with the aim of uniting at Skegness Clock Tower later that day.
“We are honoured to be able to support Zephyr’s this year: a small but incredibly worthwhile charity which makes a huge difference to the lives of many local people and families at a very difficult time in their lives. Some of the highlights of the day included a two-minute silence in a field of bulls and a group of surveyors somehow managing to get lost, resulting in a slightly longer shlep to the finish line than we had anticipated. Thankfully, the camaraderie and team spirit got us all to the end with smiles on our faces. A huge thank you to everyone who took part from our Nottingham and Lincoln offices, the amazing team who organised the day and to everyone who sponsored us, making all the effort truly worthwhile.” Victor Ktori, head of office at Savills Nottingham
Carly Williams, Founder and CEO of Zephyr’s, commented: “We are so grateful to Savills for taking on this challenge to raise money for Zephyr’s and would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the whole team for the incredibly support. As a small charity, the total raised through the year will go a really long way in helping us to support bereaved parents and families. Our heartfelt thanks go to all who took to the roads and paths, and to all who supported and sponsored, too.”
