Yoga For Bereaved Mums

Upcoming Sessions:

(Booking through Eventbrite required)

Sunday July 12th 10:00-12:30 at Sherwood Community Centre

How does it work and who is it for?

Zephyr’s Yoga Circle gatherings usually run sessions every Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. These nurturing offerings are for mothers bereaved through pregnancy loss, or the death of a baby or child.

Our yoga offering provides a calming and meditative opportunity to relax and connect with yourself and others.

Led by Hannah at Sherwood Community Centre –  The Yoga Village, Sherwood Community Centre, Nottingham, NG5 3FN, these sessions are a chance to take a moment of self care, and come together with others. We have recently introduced a new offering with Isabel at Luna Shala in Ilkeston, which will alternate with Hannah’s sessions. Restorative yoga, some tasty snacks, and a chance to chat, share and reflect.

Please note this class is designed for those who are bereaved, rather than those who are pregnant after loss.

 WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING

SESSION AND CONTACT INFO

Hot drinks will be served as you arrive, and you will have the chance to settle into your surroundings ahead of the yoga session. Snacks and drinks will be provided at a halfway point in the afternoon, allowing time to chat and connect with others if you feel ok to do so. The session will finish with a second session of calming yoga and visualisation practice, to hold and support all those present.

We expect a small number of people to attend. Each person’s loss is likely to vary greatly in experience, or in the amount of time that has passed. There will be no expectation to say or share anything more than you are comfortable with.

If you’re running late or if your plans have changed and you’re unable to attend, please contact Hannah or Isabel directly (their numbers will be provided via email when you book)
